Olive Group shortlisted for E-Learning Awards

The 2015 E-Learning Awards shortlist has just been announced and we’re delighted to see our name up there in two categories. It’s more competitive than ever, with 400 entries from across the globe whittled down to just 145 shortlisted nominees across 19 categories. Competing against some excellent co-nominees, Olive Group is up for two awards in both the ‘Best use of mobile learning’ and the ‘Best use of e-learning to ensure compliance with external regulations or internal policies’ categories.

Olive Group’s bespoke training and compliance system developed for Tesco has been nominated in both categories. The ambitious project saw over 13,000 Tesco subcontractors take the online video courses via their laptops, tablets and mobile phones. The end results saw improvements in onsite compliance, a reduction in the number of safety related incidents, plus a major downtime and cost savings benefit for both Tesco and their contractors.

David MacHale, Olive Group Marketing Director, says, “It’s a great thing to see our work being acknowledged at such a prestigious event. The team at Olive worked very hard on the roll-out of this project; we’re delighted to see our platform making a positive difference to how companies provide improved training for a safer work environment. The bite sized video approach to ELearning is certainly something new, and one which our customers and our peers clearly value.”

The E-Learning Awards Gala Evening takes place on 25 November at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge. For more details on the event and a full list of categories and nominees visit the E-Learning Awards website.
